Girona + Costa Brava + Garrotxa 5 days moderate

Bike for 5 days in one of the most beautiful cycling areas in Spain. You will try different types of hills, beautiful descents overlooking the coast, plains, national parks, foothills of the Pyrenees, Costa Brava, medieval villages, lakes, green hills, Garrotxa National Park .. Travel plan:

Day 1 – 65km and elevation gain 950m. From Girona, head to the seaside town of Tossa de Mar, then cycle another 20 km along the beautiful Costa Brava. You will spend the night in Sant Feliu de Guixols.

Day 2 – 83km and 790m. You will cycle through the peaceful Emporda region, enjoy the medieval villages and return to the coast. Accommodation in Escala.

Day 3 – 78km and 900m. The first half of the route is on the “Spanish straights”, in the second half there are 2 ascents (8km and 5km) and wonderful descents, you cycle in the Cap de Creus National Park and you are surrounded by the sea on both sides. Accommodation in Cadaques.

Day 4 – 109km and 1600m. You start from Cadaques, which is the easternmost point of the Pyrenees, and start 5 km up the ascent directly from the hotel. There is a beautiful descent to Roses, then across the Olympic Lake Banyoles to the charming village of Santa Pau. You are staying in the volcano surrounded by Olot.

Day 5 – 87km and 630m. The beginning is flat, then you enjoy the gentle hills of the Garrotxa National Park. Accommodation Girona
