Training camps

Training camps in Spain. Girona Pro Sport is a member of the patronage of Costa Brava Girona sports tourism. It consists of 60 organizations that contribute to the flawless course of training camps. These organizations offer accommodation and food adapted for athletes, swimming pools, medical centers, physiotherapists, trainers, logistics, gyms, masseurs, sports stadiums.

Whether you are a professional or amateur club, we will be happy to help with the organization or help solve any problems that may arise during the camp.

Thanks to the exceptional conditions offered by the Costa Brava, the Pyrenees and Girona, international professional athletes and sports clubs come here every year to train. And all this contributes to the fact that this region is equipped with everything you need to organize a sports camp.

Zariadenia

Costa Brava – Pyrenees (Girona) is a region with a long tradition in various sports. Over the last 10 years, the region has become the center of activity of mainly professional cyclists and triathletes, and in recent years, trail running has also expanded.

Nature environment

Eight nature parks, beaches, snow-capped mountains, seaside fishing farms, mountain huts, Roman ruins, medieval towns, old vineyards. Here you will find all the contrasts of nature, as well as history, culture and gastronomy.

Know-how

Several professional teams are based here, such as Cannondale-Garmin, today Education First-Drapac, Mitchelton-Scott, Israel Cycling Academy and the women’s UCI pro-team Massi Tactic. In addition, several professional triathletes live here, such as Jan Frodeno or Ewa Komander.

Climate

The climate is sunny and mild throughout the year. Winters are mild, spring and autumn are ideal for outdoor sports. Summer allows swimming training both in the Olympic Lake and in the sea.

We will help with the organization of training camps, we will provide accommodation, bicycles, trainers, masseurs, physiotherapists, transfers, sports nutrition, we will provide a swimming pool, gym.

We focus on cycling, running, trail and triathlon camps. For trail camps, we cooperate with one of the most popular centers for trail running in Europe – Vall de Camprodon in the Pyrenees.

One of the possibilities is to use some of the cycling and triathlon camps that are regularly organized in Girona. We can offer these training camps for amateurs.
