Spring training camp for recreational triathletes and cyclist who want to improve their racing skills (endurance training, interval training, but also attention to the techniques on the bike). The camp will be organized in different groups, we will find a suitable location for everyone.

Workshops and training will be conducted by Ewa Komander together with Endutrition Poland represented by its founder Jacek Marciniak . Ewa is an accomplished Polish professional triathlete and her brief sport CV is as follows:

Ewa is the champion of Poland U23 of 2007 and silver medalist Elite of 2008. In 2011 she won the European Cup in Karlovy Vary. In 2019 in Tallinn, she debuted at the Ironman distance with a time of 9h06. Ewa moved to Spain where she has been living and training for several years. This year, after a serious injury, she returned to racing, and will be in the professional field to compete in July in IM Vitoria-Gasteiz for PRO qualifications at the World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

The Camp includes personal coaching throughout the entire week and the experts will share their many years of training and race preparation experience, including nutrition. Instructors will be there every step to answer all your questions and doubts related to endurance sports training and racing.

Logistics: The full six (6) days of training will be efficient as the team will be divided into groups, one for more aggressive training, and one for lighter mileage. In addition, for accompanying family or friends, there will be offers of yoga sessions 2 times per day and optional and guided trips.

May is a great time to introduce corrections, build conditioning tools, or simply polish the approach for future performance to achieve in the peak months of June and July. During our camp you will still be able to implement your current training plan and coordinate that with our group workout session, so there will be flexibility to meet your needs. You can learn from our experience and take advantage of our years of competition, as for advice and get tips on nutrition and training.

What else is included in the week of Triathlon Training Camp?

  • Lectures on sports physiology, including metabolic profile. What does it consist of and why is it so important
  • New technology and innovations in amateur training.
  • Presentation of tools and the opportunity of testing them.
  • The “Quality Over Quantity” method.
  • What is the Norwegian model?
  • Lecture on Nutrition in IRONMAN
  • Time management in endurance training
  • Tests of triathlon wetsuits in which Krystian Blumenfelt, Gustav Iden and Jan Frodeno, Ben Kanute and other PRO competitors compete on a daily basis
  • Service and preparation of the bike for the race start – meeting with the mechanic of professional groups Juan Lujan
  • Possibility to arrange bike fitting with pedaling efficiency measurement with a specialist of the UAE cycling group. (additional cost of 150 EUR session)
  • Open water session at Golf de Roses Mediterranean + discussion of the specifics of swimming in open waters
  • Other training sessions to be agreed upon by camp participants

Food: we will live in 2 houses on one property connected by a common garden and swimming pool. We know from experience that everyone has different food preferences. You will be able to purchase and eat the food that suits your diet. This is a learning opportunity too, especially during breakfasts, having 2 large kitchens available, we can prepare meals together or separately according to your preferences. This is a great time to better understand your eating habits and, as breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A joint lunch or dinner at the market in Girona has its unique and always enjoyable atmosphere. Girona and its center is a paradise of gourmet good options. There will also be a special dinner, our private barbecue garden party at the end of the camp. Since we will not be limited by meal times, we can devote more time to the implementation of the entire program.
