Date: 26.3-2.4 2023 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Target group<\/strong> : Proficient MTB cyclists who have been training in the last months before arrival (1-3 times a week) Part of the camp is participation in the Girona MTB Challenge sports event (entrance fee is not included in the price, the price is around 200 euros)<\/p>\n

The camp is led by former Dutch professional cyclist Paul Kneppers<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Paul is a former cyclist of the professional UCI ProTeam Caja Rural<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Where: Girona<\/a>, Spain<\/p>\n

Price: \u20ac 645<\/strong>\u00a0(includes accommodation in a double room in a hotel in the center of Girona (7 nights), breakfast, coach, training program, professional cycling bibs TACTIC<\/a>, basic package of sports nutrition)<\/p>\n

The price of the tour does not include bicycle rental, the price for a 7-day\u00a0 rental is 140 EUR. Single room extra 175 eur.<\/p>\n

MTB training camp program:<\/h2>\n

The whole week will be dedicated to the ‘Girona MTB Challenge<\/strong>‘, which is considered one of the most beautiful mountain biking events in Catalonia, where mountain biking is very popular.<\/p>\n

It is important that you train regularly (at least 1-3 times a week) before arriving on the trip. We will start on Monday afternoon with a lighter workout in the Girona Mountains of Les Gavarres<\/a>. The next day we will do longer rides where we will explore the competitive terrain and further acclimatize. The third day will be devoted to riding technique (braking, mountain bike position, difficult descents) + extra circuit for enthusiasts. The fourth day will be relaxing, we will pick up the starting numbers and prepare the bikes. On the fifth day, the adventure begins \u2013 3 competitive days with a start in the center of Girona, where our team will assist you.<\/p>\n

Training takes place in the morning<\/strong> (except for the first day), after the training return to Girona<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(14: 00-15: 00) with the possibility of a group lunch with a coach. In the afternoon with cyclists a free program that you can use for hiking in the area (visit to wine cellars, a trip to the Costa Brava, a tour of historic Girona, access to local Romanesque baths) or to sit in local cafes run by former professional cyclists.<\/p>\n

In the middle of the week, there will be an evening sitting which we will give tips on riding in the hills.<\/p>\n
